Q: What is Clear Preservations?

A: It is a multi-step process that uses a high quality, high gloss coating that encases the keepsake in a clear hard finish.

Q: Does Clear Preservations preserve all materials and items?

A: Our preservation process covers leather, suede, cloth, lace, knitted items, furry slippers and paper.

Q: How long does the process take?

A. It takes 3-4 weeks to process from the time the item is received. Rush orders (2 weeks) are available for an additional fee.

Q: Do you preserve unusual items?

A: Absolutely! We welcome all types of items. We have preserved molasses cookies, a bomber jacket, military hat, 100 year old shoes and a knitted christening dress to name a few.

Q: How do I send my items to you?

A: Mail your order to : Clear Preservations, 1764 Sweet Briar Pl, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. All orders must include our order form. As part of our exceptional personalized service, we contact you directly to assure you of their safe arrival.

Q: What types of payments are accepted?

A: We offer Pay Pal service for all transactions as well as all major credit cards and personal checks.

Q: How do I take care of my Clear Preservations keepsake?

A: A soft cloth to remove dust is all that is needed. We suggest that the item be kept out of direct sunlight and to always pick up the mounted item by the base.
